Valentina Diena, the suspension of time. An artistic research originating from the childhood drawings improving on the subject representation accuracy.
Valentina Diena was born in Milan in 1996 and through this interview we are getting to know better the developments of her artistic research.         

How did you get to these results? “What fascinated me first and foremost about the colored pencils drawing on paper is its presence in our collective memory: all of us started, somewhere in our childhood, grabbing some colored pencils and tracing marks on a paper. I think a part of me still holds those child needs: drawing has always been a fundamental communication tool to me, not replaceable with verbal language, especially in relation to the observation and elaboration of what surrounds me”.
